What do Godparents pay for at a Catholic baptism?

There typically very few costs for the actual Baptism ceremony, however there may be costs that arise with a reception after. Traditionally, these expenses are to be covered by the parents but some Godparents may choose to chip in. Godparents do often purchase a gift for the individual that is being baptized.
